Lenton Rose of Mevagissey has been awarded a priority 4.7 grant. The aim of this project is to purchase a four man life raft for the vessel.

Development of St Austell Enterprise Park
The development of St Austell Enterprise Park has been awarded a priority 4.8 grant. The aim of the project is the provision of a range of high quality, contemporary, sustainable office and industrial units overlooking St Austell Bay. The enterprise park will be built on a speculative basis in response to the widely acknowledged market failure of high demand for such units and a lack of premises within the St Austell area, and throughout Cornwall.

St Austell Civic Pride
St Austell Civic Pride project has been awarded a priority 5.5 grant. The project is focused on St Austell town centre and the key arrival corridors to the town. It comprises a comprehensive package of works to improve paving, planting, lighting, building frontages, signs, seating and ancillary structures in the town centre streets. In addition the proposals also introduce 'garden gateways' that mark the transition from the surrounding roads to the main Civic Pride area. This is phase one of a five phase programme of works to improve the town centre of St Austell.

Newquay Airport Stage 2 Developments
Newquay Airport has been awarded a priority 2.4 grant. This project will allow the council to prepare for transfer of the site from the MOD and also plan for possible partnership arrangements for the airport’s continued operation.

Kilhallon Abattoir Redevelopment
Kilhallon Quality Meats Ltd have been awarded a priority 4.9 grant. This project will refurbish the currently redundant Kihallon abattoir, involving investment in new buildings and lairage to provide a full throughput multi-species abattoir to include game and organic meats, thus meeting the changing needs of the meat industry.

Project & Business Development Manager Clay TAWC
Clay Training and Work Centre (TAWC) has been awarded a priority 4.1 grant. The Clay Training and Work Centre (TAWC) in St Dennis was established in 2000 to provide a venue for delivery of education, training, conferences, community internet access etc. The various functions and delivery partner are co-ordinated by a part time centre manager. This project will enable the centre manager to go full time to enhance the facilities.

Fistral Beach - International Surfing Centre
Restormel Borough Council - Priority 2.2 project is a high-profile scheme which will act as a prime example of how Cornwall's private sector can work alongside the public sector to develop a project with major benefits for all involved. The project will see a range of high-quality facilities built by next summer and involves the Borough Council, surfing organisations, education bodies and private business joining forces to enhance the beach's already high reputation among surfers and other beach users. The surfing centre has been heralded as the first step in a £20 million programme to breathe new life into Newquay.

Development and Extension of Processing Dairy
Cornish Country Larder - Priority 1.4 project to assist in the expansion of the Newquay based specialist cheese producer. It will considerably increase the demand for milk from Cornwall's dairy sector, whilst building on Cornwall's growing reputation for superb local produce.
