Objective One offers
more help for business
Businesses in Cornwall wanting to know more about how Objective One can help them can now access a definitive list of Objective One-funded projects all designed to help businesses prosper.
Since the Objective One programme went live in September 2000, a growing number of projects have come on stream designed specifically to help Cornish businesses.
They range from grant and loan support, through to training, wage subsidy and information technology packages.
With so much now available across a range of different sectors, a comprehensive list has been compiled to help businesses in the county keep track of what’s available to decide if any of the projects are suitable for them.
Peter Hobson, chairman of the Objective One Business Task Force, said: “We promote projects that are relevant to businesses whenever we stage our roadshows and other events, but with so many now up and running the time was right to publish a full list describing what each project does and how it can be contacted.
“At the last count there were 28 projects to which businesses can apply for a mixture of cash support, information, training and advice, and we’ll make sure it’s kept right up to date.
“The list will be on the Objective One website and we will ensure it is available at all future roadshows and events. Umbrella Funds will also appear in the next Objective One quarterly review, which is published in the next few days.”
To access the full list of projects simply go to www.objectiveone.com,
