2008 ad – the future is University College Falmouth
The experience and expertise of more than 60 staff from University College Falmouth's Woodlane and Tremough Campuses will be combined in a unique exhibition spanning all three disciplines of Art, Design and Media at The Poly in Falmouth from Monday 25 February until Saturday 1 March.
'2008 ad' will feature individual work which has been either recently made or specifically created for the exhibition. The show will be an eclectic mix of work showcasing a different aspect of the College – a glimpse into the work of the staff today who inspire and tutor the accomplished students of tomorrow.
The exhibition is being led by the College's Directors, Jeff Hellyer, Director of Art; John Miller, Director of Design; and Paul Inman, Director of Media. "The innovative works in the exhibition will incorporate sculpture, painting, new electronic and interactive forms, contemporary crafts, industrial design, photography, animation, creative writing, fashion and textiles," explains Jeff. "This exhibition provides a great opportunity for the students and general public to see the breadth of practice and creativity that informs much of the studio teaching at UniversityCollegeFalmouth."
