It was announced this week that Deborah Smith, Head of Marketing

in Cornwall, and Cornwall Tourist Board, has been awarded
a fellowship with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Cornwall Enterprise is Cornwall County Council's arms-length

of the Objective One programme. Cornwall Enterprise and Cornwall
Tourist Board run projects that have been backed by Objective
One investment. These include Destination South West, which
aims to encourage cruise ships to the region; the Cornwall
Tourism Forum and DACOM, an initiative targeting potential

Carleen Kelemen, Director of the Objective One Partnership
in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, said: "The Partnership
is proud to be associated with Debbie. Day by day Objective
One is helping to improve the economy of Cornwall and the
Isles of Scilly and to have these sorts of skills and knowledge
amongst the Programme's partners is invaluable."
