Cornwall: Europe's First region of culture. What does Cornwall mean to you?

We're campaigning to make Cornwall the first ever European Region of Culture and if the campaign is successful, which we think it will be, there'll be a year long celebration of Cornish Culture in 2010 when Cornwall will be the centre of attention.

Everyone knows there are many different reasons that set Cornwall apart and there'll be many different aspects to the bid but to start it off you are invited to express to the world what Cornwall means to you personally.

Contributions from all ages are welcome, from locals and visitors alike, throughout May. You could send a simple text message, paint a picture, write a poem, send a recipe; it's all up to you. The material will be displayed via workshops, installations and a website culminating a grand display of Cornwall Culture at the Eden Project.

To take part, or to find out more, log on to or visit a Cornwall Culture installation at one of the venues listed below. Or send an image and your thoughts by text to 44(0) 7979 005555.
